Food Waste
Soilco currently operates a designated food waste collection vehicle to service its Illawarra and South Coast clients. The collection vehicle was custom built to ensure Soilco met the differing needs of all our clients waste and easily accessed the different docks and/or loading areas
Key features include:
- Compact, versatile collection truck
- Simple vertical tipping
- No leakage
- Rear safety camera and monitor screen in cabin
- Rear-lift truck with capacity to lift from 80 litre to 1100 litre bins
- Bin rinsing system for lifted bins
- A pressure washer attached to vehicle for a more detailed bin wash or to clean after spill that may occur.

Garden Organics & Timber
For larger volumes of organic material – such as garden waste or timber Soilco offers 15m3 and 30m3 bins, with collection by Soilco’s Hook lift truck. The hook lift system employs a series of hydraulic rams to hook, lift and hoist the bin onto the chassis of the truck.
The flexibility offered by the Hook Lift Hoist system offers several advantages:
- Ground level loading and unloading
- Exact positioning (dropping off) of containers
- Ability to get in and out of tight spaces
- Quick exchange of containers: system allows container to be lift/dropped in around 90 seconds
- Ability to engage a container up to 30° off center when picking up, important for bins containing food waste
- Leak proof seals, B locks and all weather tarps to reduce spill risk when transporting
